Child Safety Standards

ATKuniverse, on the website and in the app, prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. That includes:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any image, video, audio, drawing, AI-generated or written content that sexualises a minor.
• Grooming: befriending or contacting a minor in order to sexually exploit them.
• Sextortion, or soliciting sexual content from minors.
• Trafficking or advertising minors for sexual purposes.
• Any content or conduct that sexualises, endangers or exploits children.

This applies everywhere: posts, comments, community chat, private messages, voice messages, statuses, profiles and files.

• We remove CSAE content as soon as we find it or it’s reported to us.
• We permanently ban the accounts involved.
• We report CSAM and child exploitation to the relevant authorities. That includes the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), Ghana Police Service and other law enforcement as the law requires. We keep the evidence securely, only for that purpose.
• We cooperate with law-enforcement investigations.

• In the app or on the website: use Report on the post, comment, message, status or profile (the ⋯ menu, a long-press, or the flag icon). Choose “Nudity or sexual content” or “Something else,” and say it involves a child. Reports reach our team immediately.
• Directly: contact us and mark your message “Child safety.”
• If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.
• You can also report CSAM to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org, or to the Internet Watch Foundation at report.iwf.org.uk.

Please don’t download, screenshot or share the content, even to report it.

• You must be 13 or older to have an account. Members under the age of majority need a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
• Everyone controls who can message them privately: anyone, people in their communities, or no one.
• Anyone can block another person. Blocked people can’t message them or see their statuses.
• Statuses are only shown to people who share a community or a chat with the poster, and disappear after 24 hours.
• Community moderators and ATKuniverse staff can remove content and ban members.

We comply with the child-safety laws that apply to us, including Ghana’s Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038), and the reporting requirements in the places where ATKuniverse is offered.
