Community Guidelines
Last updated September 7, 2026. How to be a good member of any ATKuniverse community.
1. Why these exist
Communities work best when people feel safe posting, asking questions, and showing up as themselves. These guidelines apply to every community on ATKuniverse — feed posts, comments, chat messages, and shared resources — alongside our Terms of Service.
2. Be respectful
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or personal attacks.
- No content that’s sexually explicit, violent, or illegal.
- Disagree with ideas, not people — keep it constructive.
- Respect other members’ privacy — don’t share someone’s personal information without their consent.
3. No spam
Don’t post repetitive, irrelevant, or purely promotional content. Some communities restrict link sharing to moderators — if you try to share a link somewhere that doesn’t allow it, your post will be rejected with a message explaining why.
4. Language
Communities can maintain their own list of banned words or phrases. If your post or message contains one, it’s automatically censored (replaced with asterisks) — the rest of your message still goes through. Moderators and admins aren’t subject to this filter, since enforcing it is part of their role.
5. Roles and moderation
Every community has its own leadership, independent of site-wide roles:
- Member — can post, comment, react, and chat (subject to that community’s settings).
- Moderator — can additionally manage the banned-words list and pin posts.
- Admin — can additionally change community-wide settings (chat lock, link sharing, resource permissions) and assign roles up to moderator/admin.
- Owner — full control of the community.
A moderator or admin can lock chat to moderators only, disable link sharing for regular members, or restrict who can add resources — always visible from that community’s own settings, so you’ll always know what applies.
6. Reporting an issue
If you see content that breaks these guidelines, or run into another member behaving inappropriately, let that community’s moderators know, or contact us directly if it’s serious or a moderator is involved.
7. Consequences
Depending on severity, breaking these guidelines can result in content removal, a warning, a role change, being muted or removed from a specific community, or losing access to your ATKuniverse account entirely for serious or repeated violations.
8. Changes
We may update these guidelines from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above.
